For many people, the only exercise they have learned for their pelvic floor is to contract the muscle. However, if you were to go to a gym and a trainer told you to work out your bicep by just contracting the muscle you would probably be disappointed. Yes, it may do something but you can do this more dynamically by lengthening and shortening your pelvic floor muscles.
Why pelvic floor is important?
Tight pelvic floor = tight hip joint, tight lower back etc.
